STEM Saturdays - Free Design and Engineering Program at Cooper Union

Application Deadline: September 13, 2019 (extended! please apply!)
Event: September 21-December 14, 2019

STEM Saturdays invites students in grades 9-12 with interest in design and creative problem solving to explore how to use engineering to design and build solutions to real world challenges. During the 11 week program, students will learn to use design methods, fabrication tools (including 3D printing), laser cutting and hand tools, electronics, and coding as they work in teams to create a product. The program meets from 10:00am-4:00pm and is free. MetroCards and lunch are provided. Priority is given to students with no prior experience in engineering.
